Christian Tradition

The mystical and contemplative traditions of Christianity, seeking union with God through prayer, love, and inner transformation

Core Teachings

Divine Love (Agape)

God is love, and the spiritual life is fundamentally about receiving and sharing this unconditional, transforming love that flows from the Divine.

The Indwelling Presence

The Kingdom of God is within. The mystics teach that God dwells in the depths of the soul, accessible through contemplative prayer.

Theosis (Deification)

The Eastern Christian teaching that humans are called to participate in the divine nature, becoming by grace what God is by nature.

Kenosis (Self-Emptying)

Following Christ's example of self-emptying love, releasing attachment to ego and surrendering to God's will.
